Saved drafts, offline work and syncing
The phone app can keep some permitted work on your device while the connection is unavailable. Follow each action's status: a local save is different from a record accepted by the service.
Before a shift
Sign in and open the information you need while connected. Confirm the current participant, agreement and booking. Keep your device secured. A previously displayed schedule cannot confirm a new booking or a later change while you are offline.
If the connection drops
- Keep the app open and read the message about what has been saved on this phone.
- Continue only the actions the app actually offers. A running shift, a note draft or a queued incident does not make every feature available offline.
- Check for Saved, Queued, Waiting for connection or a message that you need to review the item.
- Reconnect and open the saved/queued item. Use the offered retry or sync action.
- Reopen the shift note or incident and confirm the server-accepted result before treating it as submitted.
When a queued item needs you
The underlying shift, agreement or permissions may have changed. Read the refusal and review the original item. If Return to draft is offered, make the needed correction there; it does not mean the original was submitted.
Do not uninstall the app, clear its data or change phones while needed work exists only on that device. Do not submit another copy simply because a response was slow. Check the current record first.
Actions that need a connection
New bookings, invitations, permission changes, participant approvals and issuing documents need the service to confirm their result. A disabled offline action is not complete. Ask support if you cannot recover a saved item; share the error reference rather than the care note itself.
