Documents

This guide is for a support worker. A participant's document area holds the files your role is allowed to access. Your own certificates are worker credentials and use a different path.

Open participant documents on the web

  1. Select Participants and open the person.
  2. Select Documents.
  3. Read the file name, upload date and keeping period shown.
  4. Select Download for a file you are permitted to open.

Access depends on your service relationship and the document's scope. A signed agreement PDF appears once both required signatures and the generated document are ready; it may not appear immediately.

Upload participant documents on the web

  1. On Documents, select Upload documents.
  2. Use Choose documents to select PDF, JPG or PNG files.
  3. Choose a Document type for each file. Read who will be able to see it.
  4. Select Save these documents.
  5. Check for any failed files. Return to Documents and confirm which files appear before uploading them again.

A batch can partially succeed. Do not repeat files already saved merely because another file failed. General removal is not offered on this document-upload page.

Plans are a separate workflow

Use the participant's Plan page to upload a plan. The web accepts PDF, JPG or PNG up to 20 MB. Upload and ask [participant] requests their consent before the app reads the plan. Uploading alone does not confirm consent or extraction. The plan can also be entered by hand through the available plan forms.

See Your plan and budget for the participant's choices.

Your own credentials

On the native phone app, use Add, then Upload a credential, or open Credentials from More. Follow the upload or entry form, check the dates and confirm the saved record. A certificate record is not proof that an external authority has verified it.

Participant upload limits

The participant's general My documents upload is unavailable. They can ask for a document to be added through an allowed workflow. There is a specific exception for appointment paperwork: the participant can add eligible nominee evidence under Settings, then My nominee. That does not open general document uploads. See Adding a supporter or nominee.

If something goes wrong

  • Access refused. Check the relationship and scope. Do not use someone else's account.
  • A download or upload was not confirmed. Check the document list before retrying.
  • A saved file needs correction or removal. Use the controls offered for that record or Getting help.
