ThimbleCare help

Incidents

This guide is for a participant. You can record something that worried you in your own words. Your log is separate from a worker's log. ThimbleCare does not send an incident report to an authority for you.

If you are in immediate danger, call 000 first. The incident screens also show other help contacts.

Write a log on the web

  1. Sign in with your own email code, open My incident logs from Home, then Write a new log.
  2. Choose the category that fits best. You can explain more later.
  3. Say when it happened. A rough answer or I am not sure is allowed.
  4. Answer Are you safe right now? and read the help shown.
  5. On Your words, describe what happened. The form needs some words before saving.
  6. Choose Who can see this log:
    • Only me: the private option.
    • Me and my worker: the whole log is shared with the worker identified by the app, when available.
    • ThimbleCare's safety team only: the compliance option described by the screen; your worker cannot read it through that sharing choice.
  7. Select Save my log and check the result.

Choosing a visibility option does not request an urgent response or send the log to an outside organisation. If you want someone to know now, contact them directly.

After saving

A confirmed Saved result says who can see the log. Open Read my log to check it. The original words are locked. Use Add to my log for later words; the original stays unchanged.

On the web, incident PDF download is currently unavailable. Use the available record view, or ask Getting help about a copy. Native record actions may differ; use only the save/share action actually offered.

If you need to stop

On the web, Keep in this tab and leave for now keeps the unfinished log in the current tab. Closing it can remove the draft. This is not a submitted log or a saved file on every device.

If something goes wrong

  • Me and my worker is unavailable. The app could not safely identify one worker to share with. Keep it private or ask for help.
  • Saving was not confirmed. Open the log list before trying again. Do not assume nothing saved after a connection failure.
  • You need immediate help. Call the help contact directly; a log or compliance visibility choice is not an emergency service.
